I logged in here and the site just showed welcome to the zone bbs, no quicknotes and I could see myself as being logged in on the list of log-ins but the log in form was still up, couldn't do anything. What fixed it was to delete my zonebbs cookies in firefox.
Yes, this has been happening.
The fix.
Close and reopen the page and try again.
Why, I have no idea.
Not to mention no one even talked about a few weeks ago when the entire site was down for upwards of 3 days. Not that I was sad about that or anything. What happened, DDos attack? hahaha!
This happened to me a couple of months ago, I think. Closing the page didn't work, as I would come back and I would still be "signed in" but couldn't sign out nor be able to post nor "sign" in again as I was already "signed" in. I cannot remember what I did to solve the problem.
I've had this problem a few times. It usually goes away on its own within a couple of hours.
It's bizarre though. It didn't start happening till about three or four months ago, and code doesn't just...decay. It's not as if something can break out of nowhere, so I'm wondering who's tinkering with what, and why.

Deleting cookies fixes it but who wants to be doing that every time?
If you did it once and you got fresh ones, you'll not have to do it each time.

Forgot. I didn't do mine, but I think it is a good idea to delete them all on a regular bases, so do so as a rule.
This is better for security reasons I think, and I've got a pile of reasons, but I'll not bore you all with them.

I had that happen the other day. I'll remember the cooky trick, though I did try that here yesterday to fix the problem without success.
So, it is a problem that fixes itself and on our side we don't really have a solution, but to try again.
I was just thinking of doing a post on this very thing. I could not log in yesterday. Well, I was in, so I saw my name in the list but it wanted me to keep entering my username and pwd. People were writing me messages but I could only get them when my name was logged off the site and I was able to quickly log in again; it was weird.
It hasn't happened to me again.

I just had an issue loging into the zone as well. I tried 4 times. They need to fix the bug.
I had that problem... and I hate it! ROFL, what helped me? restarting my computer.
sometimes closing and reopening the browser will fix, sometimes deleting cookies.
This issue has been brought up to admins, but they're not sure what's going on.

Wow, I'm really glad I found this! I'm having the same issue. It keeps saying my password or username isn't correct, but I know it is. I try closing the page sometimes it works sometimes not. I will try to delete cookies. Glad it is not just me!
This seems to happen a bit for me now - perhaps once or twice every two weeks.
Deleting the cookie called "zonebbs" works for me, so I assume that something about that cookie is causing the problem.
Adminds fixed a bug on the site that hopefully has fixed this issue.
